Performs intermediate skilled professional work involving the collection of fees, providing customer service which may include: food and beverage service, short order food preparation and cooking, mixing and serving alcoholic beverages, does related work as required. Work is performed under the general supervision of the Clubhouse 1936 Manager.
This is light work requiring the exertion of up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to move objects; work requires fingering, and repetitive motions; vocal communication is required for expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word; hearing is required to perceive information at normal spoken word levels; visual acuity is required for preparing and analyzing written or computer data;
the worker is not subject to adverse environmental conditions.
Assisting customers; collecting and accounting for cash fees and credit card charges; preparing and maintaining cash drawer and files.
Records each player on sign-up sheet, totals and verifies correct fees collected.
Receives and processes customer orders and payment transactions; reconciles and balances cash drawer; prepares daily operation and cash reports for submittal to Clubhouse 1936 Manager.
Maintains a clean simulator room, dining area, kitchen area and/or side rooms and rest rooms; performs general custodial work when assigned.
Assists with daily operations of the Clubhouse 1936 by conducting opening and closing procedures.
Answers telephone and responds to questions.
Food and beverage servicing.
Food preparation/cooking.
Mixing/serving alcoholic beverages.
Performs related tasks as required.
General knowledge of the operation of a golf and sports bar type operation; ability to understand and follow oral and written directions; ability to perform record keeping and mathematical calculations; ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with associates and the general public.
Knowledge of Food and Beverage industry a plus.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Any combination of education and experience equivalent to graduation from high school.
Possession of an appropriate driver’s license in the State of North Carolina.
Food Handling certification prior to or upon employment.
Responsible alcohol server training (RASP) through the NC ABC Commission.
Ability to work flexible hours when needed including nights, weekends and holidays.
