Position: Sales Manager (Monroe NC)

Job Description Responsibilities
  • Actively sell and manage Sales Representatives to drive sales growth in a designated geographic territory.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies for all Tru Team products and services.
  • Identify prospective customers, including general contractors, home builders, remodelers, and consumers, and consistently follow up on leads.
  • Use Time and Territory Management skills to deliver the Tru Team value proposition and build lasting client relationships.
  • Meet division expectations for closing sales ratios and direct margin budget goals.
  • Provide product knowledge and expertise to current and potential customers.
  • Monitor market conditions, product innovations, and competitor activities.
  • Conduct sales calls, proposals, and new business development primarily outside the office.
  • Manage the customer experience from initial sale to project completion, including handling inquiries and walk‑ins.
  • Perform any other duties and tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Minimum age 18 and valid driver’s license if vehicle use is required.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in construction science, marketing, or related field.
  • Prior industry sales experience (preferred).
  • Ability to obtain applicable certifications/licenses as required.
Safety Sensitive Position

Compliance with safety protocols and company policies is mandatory.

Travel Requirements

Regional travel required, typically more than 50% of the work schedule.

Physical Requirements
  • Prolonged standing and repetitive motions, including bending, stooping, pushing, and pulling.
  • Good hand‑eye coordination, hand dexterity, and physical strength.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed for specific duties.
