Role DescriptionThe Market Development Sales Specialist (Bilingual) is a full-time, on-site role based in the Charlotte Metro area. This position focuses on identifying new market opportunities, growing sales within assigned territories, and strengthening relationships with existing and prospective customers. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting market research, analyzing sales data and trends, visiting customers, presenting product solutions, and providing ongoing customer service support. The specialist will collaborate closely with internal teams to develop targeted sales strategies, prepare proposals and pricing, and ensure that customer feedback informs product and market initiatives.
The role requires frequent communication in English and Spanish, both verbally and in writing, to serve diverse clients and stakeholders.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret market data, sales reports, and performance metrics.
- Proficiency in market research, including identifying trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in English and at least one additional language.
- Proven sales skills, including prospecting, negotiation, closing, and account management.
- Customer service skills with a focus on responsiveness, relationship-building, and problem resolution.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Experience in packaging, manufacturing, or related industries is an advantage.
- Ability to work on-site in the Charlotte Metro area, travel within assigned territories, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Competence with CRM systems, MS Office, and digital communication tools.
