Automotive A-Level Technician

Brandon Reeves Auto World is a long-established, family-owned independent used car dealership in Monroe, NC. We specialize in ¾-ton trucks (Ram, Ford, GMC, and Chevrolet), diesel vehicles, and a strong mix of cars and SUVs. Our service department is a critical part of our operation, and we are committed to quality work, integrity, and long-term stability.

We are looking to add one experienced Automotive A-Level Technician to our team. This is not an entry-level role. This position is intended for a technician who can confidently diagnose and repair complex mechanical, electrical, and drivability issues with minimal supervision.

  A-Level technician with advanced diagnostic ability
• Can independently diagnose and repair engine, drivability, electrical, transmission, and heavy-line issues
• Are comfortable working on both gas and diesel vehicles, including ¾-ton trucks
• Take pride in your work and stand behind the repairs you perform
• Want a stable, professional shop environment that respects skilled technicians

This role isNOTfor entry-level, lube, or basic line technicians.

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair complex mechanical, electrical, and drivability issues
• Perform advanced repairs across multiple makes and models
• Complete thorough inspections and clearly document findings
• Communicate effectively with service advisors and management
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow shop processes
• Work within a flat-rate pay structure

• Proven experience as an Automotive A-Level Technician
• Strong diagnostic skills; electrical and drivability experience required
• Diesel truck experience is a strong plus
• ASE certifications preferred (or willingness to obtain)
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Professional, dependable attitude and strong teamwork skills
• Pay: $35 – $50 per hour (flat rate), based on skill and experience
