The Electrical Mechanical Technician is a full-time, on-site role based in Monroe, NC. This role is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing production equipment and supporting systems to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operations. Day-to-day tasks include performing electrical and mechanical troubleshooting, conducting scheduled preventive maintenance, and responding to equipment breakdowns to minimize downtime. The technician will calibrate and adjust machinery, document maintenance activities, and collaborate with production and engineering teams to drive continuous improvement.
The role also involves adhering to safety standards, following technical manuals and schematics, and assisting with equipment upgrades or new installations as needed.
- Candidates should possess strong Equipment Maintenance and Maintenance skills to support consistent and reliable production operations.
- Candidates should possess Preventive Maintenance skills to plan and perform scheduled service that reduces downtime and extends equipment life.
- Candidates should possess Troubleshooting and Maintenance & Repair skills to quickly diagnose issues and implement effective solutions for electrical and mechanical systems.
- Experience with industrial machinery, automation systems, and basic PLC or control systems is beneficial.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and equipment manuals.
- Commitment to workplace safety, quality standards, and continuous improvement practices.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Relevant technical diploma, certification, or equivalent experience in electrical or mechanical maintenance is preferred.
