Plumber

R.T. Moore Co., Inc. is seeking a Plumber I to support residential and multi-family construction projects. This entry-level role assists with installing, assembling, and testing plumbing systems under the guidance of experienced plumbers. Duties include reading basic blueprints, rough-in and trim work, material handling, and keeping a safe, organized jobsite. You'll learn code requirements, tool use, and best practices while participating in apprenticeship and on-the-job training.

Responsibilities

• Assist with installation of residential and multi-family plumbing systems
• Read and follow basic blueprints and drawings
• Perform rough-in, trim, and final plumbing tasks under supervision
• Measure, cut, and assemble pipe, fittings, and fixtures
• Test systems for leaks and proper operation
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized jobsite
• Follow company and OSHA safety procedures
• Load, unload, and stage tools and materials
• Document work performed as directed by foreman
• Participate in training and apprenticeship programs
