Commercial Electrician

Leapros Skilled Trades is actively hiring Commercial Electrician in Monroe, NC. The Commercial Electrician is responsible for executing electrical installations and maintenance on commercial construction projects in the Monroe, NC area. The ideal candidate will possess hands-on experience with conduit bending, cable tray installations, and pulling wire to support large-scale electrical infrastructure.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $25 to $37 Per Hour BOE

• Measure, bend, and install electrical conduit to meet project specifications.
• Perform professional cable tray installations throughout commercial structures.
• Pull electrical wiring through conduit and cable trays and connect to various electrical components.
• Install, maintain, and repair a wide range of lighting fixtures and electrical panels.
• Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to guide installation work.
• Connect wiring to circuit breakers, transformers, and outlets while ensuring system integrity.
• Verify that all electrical installations comply with relevant local and national safety codes.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure electrical tasks are completed within designated timelines.
• Maintain a clean and safe job site while adhering to all OSHA safety protocols.

• Proven experience working as a commercial electrician on construction or renovation projects.
• Advanced proficiency in conduit bending and cable tray installation techniques.
• Strong technical skills in pulling wire and installing commercial lighting systems.
• Ability to read and accurately interpret electrical blueprints and drawings.
• Solid understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and industry safety standards.
• Possession of necessary hand tools and personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Reliable transportation to and from job sites in the Monroe area.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently or as part of a trade team.

• Must have manual dexterity, a good sense of balance, and excellent hand-eye coordination.
• Must be able to climb stairs, ladders, and scaffolding to perform work at heights.
• Physically capable of pulling heavy wires and cables through long conduit runs.
• Must be able to see color to accurately discern color-coded wiring.
• Must be able to sit, stand, kneel, stoop, and walk for long periods of time.
• Must be physically capable of lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in various weather conditions and environments typical of a construction site.

The anticipated pay range for this position is $25 to $37 per hour, based on relevant factors such as experience, skills, education, internal equity, and geographic location. Final compensation will be determined during the interview process by the hiring authority.
