School Nutrition Assistant -East Elementary School

Position Overview

This position has a 3‑month learning/proficiency period. As a school nutrition assistant, you will work in an active and exciting cafeteria setting serving children and faculty Monday through Friday throughout the school year. The role requires a fun and engaging approach.

You must be active, able to lift up to 50 pounds on occasion, and be on your feet for most of the shift. Responsibilities include maintaining the kitchen and dining area to health department regulations, sweeping, mopping, and taking out trash as needed.

Be part of the team improving school cafeteria operations by serving wholesome, nutritious food to students, faculty, and parents.

Must love children, be responsible and dependable with the work schedule, and deliver high‑quality food and service in a polite, fun, and engaging manner.

UCPS School Nutrition Services offers openings in elementary, middle, and high school cafeterias. The environment is fast‑paced, lively, and welcoming, focusing on safety, quality, and service.
