As a Live Haul Driver, you will safely transport live poultry from contract growers to our processing facility. Your work helps ensure each load is handled securely, humanely, and on schedule. You will work closely with the Transportation Manager and live haul and plant operations teams. This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

• Safely operate a tractor-trailer transporting live poultry from farms to the processing plant
• Complete DOT-required pre-trip and post-trip inspections and confirm vehicle readiness
• Verify and secure loads before departure and follow animal welfare standards in transit
• Maintain accurate equipment records and weight documentation
• Follow all DOT, federal, state, and company safety requirements
• Promptly report equipment, safety, or maintenance concerns
• Support transportation and plant operations with additional duties as needed

• Valid Class A CDL and current medical card
• At least 21 years of age
• At least 1 year of verifiable driving experience; 3 years preferred
• Working knowledge of DOT, state, and federal transportation regulations
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to read, write, complete basic math, and maintain accurate records
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and ability to work independently
• Live poultry hauling experience is preferred, but not required

This role may include late-evening through early-morning shifts, and schedule flexibility is required. Drivers work outdoors in varying weather, sit and drive for extended periods, climb in and out of the truck multiple times per shift, and work around moving equipment and noisy environments. Safety training and required personal protective equipment are provided.
