Warehouse Shift Leader

Responsibilities

• Direct staff to ensure daily tasks and set priorities are met as assigned by warehouse supervisor.
• Manage warehouse improvement projects with warehouse manager and supervisor.
• Receive and inspect incoming goods to ensure items, lot numbers, and quantities are correct.
• Unload and separate containers/trailers by item and lot number.
• Put away items in warehouse location.
• Perform SAP inventory transactions.
• Prepare shipping documents utilizing UPS station.
• Maintain cleanliness of the warehouse.
• Shrink-wrap pallets in preparation of put-away or shipping.
• Accurately record inventory.
• Understand product status (releases, QA hold, etc.).
• Understand the meaning of item and lot number.
• Follow forklift safety guidelines.
• Follow safe lifting practices.
• Cross train and train new and existing employees.
• Prepare Bill of Laden (BOLs) and shipping documents.

• Intermediate SAP knowledge.
• Experience with cross training and training of new and existing employees.
• Knowledge of forklift safety and safe lifting practices.
• Ability to manage warehouse improvement projects.

• Standing or walking approximately 4 hours per day.
• Kneeling, reaching, stepping, and using stairs or pushing and pulling as needed.
• Lifting packages 18 to 32 lbs. repeatedly, occasionally up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work on an order picker platform at heights of approximately 20 feet.
