Brief Description

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for receiving, organizing, assembling, staging, and delivering items, including furniture, for use in True Homes' model homes. This role reports to the warehouse daily and operates mainly independently or with minimal supervision, while also assisting with the day-to-day receiving and handling of deliveries. Schedule flexibility is required. Typical hours fall between 9am-2pm, totaling 20-25 hours per week, Monday-Friday, with occasional weekend work as needed.

Responsibilities
  • Assists Model Home Staging team by ensuring warehouse cleanliness, organization, and safety standards are met daily
  • Maintains warehouse organization system as defined by the Model Home Staging team and warehouse guidelines
  • Performs furniture assembly, as indicated by factory instructions, ensuring that items are properly assembled and meet the quality standards of True Homes
  • Provides excellent customer service to the Model Home Staging team and supports the Model Home Staging process in a timely and urgent manner
  • Performs other duties as needed or required
Results/Accountability
  • Ensures furniture is received and built properly in time prior to installation of model.
Qualifications
  • High School diploma or GED
  • Associate’s level or accelerated degree, preferred
  • Valid driver’s license, current automobile insurance, and reliable personal transportation required for daily travel

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to move about the community including model homes, sales center, showcase homes, available lots, etc.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds without assistance
  • Ability to walk warehouse floor, climb stairs, reach, bend, stretch, and lift items as necessary
  • Ability to ascend/descend stairs
