Senior BIM Specialist

A large concrete construction company is seeking a Senior BIM/VDC Specialist to support complex concrete construction projects through advanced BIM modeling, design coordination, and construction technology initiatives. This individual will serve as a technical resource for project teams, managing multiple projects simultaneously while converting model data into actionable construction deliverables.

• Create, coordinate, and maintain detailed 3D models using Revit and AutoCAD.
• Manage BIM/VDC efforts across multiple projects of varying size and complexity.
• Translate 3D model data into 2D drawings, layouts, and field-ready construction deliverables.
• Review construction documents and identify design conflicts, discrepancies, and constructability concerns.
• Draft clear technical documentation and prepare information for RFI submission to project management teams.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, field personnel, and other project stakeholders.
• Maintain model accuracy through revisions, design changes, and project updates.
• Support implementation of BIM/VDC technologies and digital construction workflows.
• Promote collaboration and effective communication across project teams.

• Advanced proficiency in Revit (and AutoCAD).
• Experience supporting concrete construction projects.
• Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong technical writing skills.
• Ability to communicate model-related issues clearly and professionally.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Self-starter with a collaborative and solutions-oriented approach.
