Vaco is hiring for a Compensation Analyst opportunity in Monroe OH

Direct Hire, Onsite

Salary: $85-90,000/yr

Position Summary

The Compensation Analyst is responsible for analyzing, administering, and improving compensation programs to ensure competitive, equitable, and compliant pay practices. This role partners with HR, Finance, HRIS, Payroll, IT, and business leaders on compensation planning, benchmarking, job evaluation, analytics, and incentive programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for SAP Success Factors Compensation, including configuration, templates, eligibility rules, budgets, guidelines, workflows, and compensation cycles.
  • Manage compensation plans, forms, route maps, budgets, launches, and final approvals while ensuring accurate data and processing.
  • Lead system testing, data validation, reconciliations, and integrations with HRIS and Payroll.
  • Develop executive-level compensation dashboards and analyze pay outcomes, budgets, workforce trends, and compensation data.
  • Support market benchmarking, pay band development, external compensation surveys, and pay equity initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain job descriptions and job families to support job evaluation, market alignment, internal equity, and workforce planning.
  • Translate complex compensation data into clear recommendations for HR and leadership.
  • Create process documentation, user guides, and training materials; support users on compensation systems.
  • Drive continuous improvement, automation, and enhancements to compensation processes and systems.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of compensation, total rewards, or HR analytics experience.
  • CCP certification preferred.
  • Advanced Excel, HRIS/HCM reporting, and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication, confidentiality, organization, critical thinking, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively across all organizational levels.
