Overview

The Post‑Harvest Associate supports the final stages of the cultivation process by trimming, curing, and preparing cannabis flower for packaging and sale. This role requires strong attention to detail, consistency, and adherence to quality and compliance standards.

Responsibilities
  • Complete tasks associated with the harvesting and finishing of cannabis plants in accordance with our mission, vision, goals, and objectives.
  • Hang product in the dry room on harvest day.
  • Efficiently bucket and sort product based on Harvest standard guidelines.
  • Efficiently de‑stem product in accordance with Harvest standard guidelines.
  • Conduct continual quality control assessment as product moves through the process.
  • Redirect any misallocated product (e.g., removing A bud from B bud).
  • Identify pests, mold, seeds, or other quality concerns.
  • Assist with product handling and storage in accordance with Harvest standards.
  • Maintain all equipment in accordance with Harvest standard operating procedures.
  • Properly label all plant material throughout the process.
  • Operate, maintain, and clean the trim machine.
  • Attend to a large‑scale post‑harvest cultivation operation facility.
  • Prepare plants in accordance with standard operating procedures.
  • Maintain a positive attitude that promotes teamwork.
  • Ensure compliance with EPA and MSDS regulations on nutrients and pesticides.
  • Participate in ongoing education and professional development as needed.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of executed tasks.
  • Maintain a level of cleanliness and organization.
  • Ensure no product leaves the facility without authorization of management.
  • Follow all safety regulations set by supervisors.
  • Ensure an overall positive, safe, and clean environment.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Minimum high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent required.
  • Ability to work in an exceedingly fast‑paced environment.
  • Ability to manage high‑stress, high‑urgency situations and be flexible and adaptable when required.
  • Self‑motivated, committed, and ambitious.
  • General tool, hardware, ladder, and building skills, including use of a 12‑foot extension ladder.
  • Experience working safely in a warehouse setting.
  • Remain compliant with all legal and company regulations.
  • Ability to communicate through various formats including email and phone.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Ability to work 7 days per week if necessary and flexible with schedule.
  • Computer skills and ability to learn new software programs.
  • Experience and knowledge in horticulture and/or agriculture is a bonus.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license or state .
  • Must be a minimum of 21 years of age.
  • Must be approved by the state badging agency to work in the cannabis industry, which includes a pre‑employment background check.
Physical Requirements & Work Environment
  • Must be capable of sitting, squatting, standing, kneeling, bending, or walking for long durations.
  • Must be able to push, pull, or lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
  • Potential exposure to dust, pollen, and plant pathogens.
  • May require daily use of provided PPE.
