Job Summary
Apply metal to customer orders and accurately process material according to the work order specifications. Ensure that processing equipment is maintained in a safe and clean condition. Maintain processing area in a clean, safe and orderly manner. Complete all required information entry accurately. Perform any other tasks as assigned.

Pay: $20.00 per hour
Schedule:
Monday–Friday 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

This hands‑on role is critical to keeping our operations running efficiently and safely. WhatYou’ll Be Doing
- Operate saw machines per work order and setup notes
- Safely set up equipment and run materials to customer specifications
- Pull, inspect, and verify materials before processing
- Accurately record measurements and quality checks per sampling plan
- Use forklifts and cranes to move materials (must be certified as a Material Handler)
- Package materials per written work instructions
- Identify and record scrap or non-conforming material
- Communicate with sales reps for order clarification when needed
- Perform preventative maintenance and general clean‑up duties
- Maintain and properly use measuring tools, scales, and scanners
- Provide performance feedback and contribute to continuous improvement
- Train others when required
- High school diploma or GED
- Solid experience operating industrial machinery (preferably saw machines)
- Previous experience in a warehouse or metals industry environment
- Forklift certification and material handling experience
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and handle physically active tasks
- Strong safety focus and ability to work around heavy equipment
- Comfortable using hand‑held measuring tools
- Basic math, reading, and computer skills
