Calibration Technician
Deceuninck North America is seeking a Calibration Technician for our Monroe Ohio location. In this role the Calibration Technician will be responsible for performing calibrations, maintenance, and repairs on measurement and test equipment used in our manufacturing processes. This role is critical in ensuring quality control and maintaining ISO standards compliance.
Core Responsibilities:- Execute calibration procedures on various measurement instruments including micrometers, calipers, gauges, scales, and testing equipment according to established standards
- Maintain detailed documentation of all calibration activities, equipment histories, and certification records
- Perform preventive maintenance on measurement equipment and coordinate repairs when necessary
- Develop and update calibration procedures as needed
- Monitor calibration schedules and ensure timely completion of required calibrations
- Investigate and troubleshoot equipment issues
- Support quality audits by providing calibration records and documentation
- Collaborate with production and quality teams to address measurement-related concerns
- Proficiency in using various measurement instruments and calibration equipment
- Strong understanding of measurement principles and calibration procedures
- Knowledge of ISO 17025 standards and quality management systems
- Excellent attention to detail and documentation skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with calibration management software preferred
- Preferred knowledge of ISO 9001 requirements
- Associate's degree in Electronics, Metrology, or related technical field or HS Diploma with 2 years relevant experience - Minimum 2 years' experience in calibration or related technical role
