OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST
Primary ResponsibilitiesPlan, conduct and evaluate an educational therapy program for all assigned students.
This is a sedentary position with light work that involves sitting a portion of the time, but does require walking and standing for extended periods. The position requires accurate perception of sound, near and far vision, depth perception, handling and working with educational and psychological materials; and providing highly technical oral and written information and reports. Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable a person with a disability to perform the essential functions of the job.
SupervisoryRelationships
The Occupational Therapist works under the direction of the Director of Student Services and/or the Building Administrator. The Occupational Therapist maintains continuous contact with various staff members to ensure close coordination and communication necessary for successfully accomplishing the objectives of the occupational therapy program.
Salary and BenefitsSalary is based on the approved District salary schedule for the BASE and local TRI pay. Placement on the salary schedule is based on experience, degrees and post‑baccalaureate college credits, per the State Salary Schedule. Salary is adjusted for less than full‑time equivalent (1.0 FTE).
