Position Description

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Trivium Teacher to join our dynamic team.
The Trivium Teacher will be responsible for instructing students in the classical liberal arts curriculum, focusing on the Trivium:
Grammar, Logic, and Rhetoric. This role involves guiding high school students in developing their analytical, communication, and reasoning skills through engaging and innovative teaching methods. The ideal candidate will inspire students to explore and appreciate the interconnectedness of knowledge across disciplines while contributing to the establishment of a strong academic culture within the school.
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with the principles of the Trivium.
- Foster a classroom environment that encourages inquiry, discussion, and collaboration.
- Assess and evaluate student progress and adapt teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs.
- Collaborate with founding faculty to enhance the curriculum and participate in school-wide initiatives.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff to promote a positive learning community.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with educational best practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Humanities, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Experience teaching in a classical education setting is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of the Trivium and its effective application in the classroom.
