Requirements- 3 years experience
- Level 3 or higher trauma experience
- ESI Level 5 triage experience
- Must be able to read and interpret telemetry strips
- Ventilator experience
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, TNCC, NRP, PALS or ENPC
* Charge experience preferred
* Float across ED and inpatient units as needed ER RN – Nights Start 7/21 13 weeks ACLS, BLS, ENPC or PALS, TNCC required. 1 opening 2 years’ experience Shift Notes: 3-12s, Nights, EOW, float across ED and inpatient units as needed 36 hours
ER Registered Nurse (RN) – Travel Contract
Unit: Emergency Room (ER)
Unit Details- Beds: 2 trauma rooms, 11 exam rooms — 4 are fast track
- Ratio: 1:4
- EMR: Care View
- Charge Nurse: RSC (RN Shift Coordinator) — will take 1 patient
- Nurse Aides: 1 aide 24/7; 2 PM–2 AM a second aide is added
- Scrub Color: Scrubs are provided
- ER Physician: 1 ER physician 24/7
- PA: Staffed at 2 PM
- Hospitalist: In-house until 5 PM
- RT: 24/7
- IV Team: No
- Pharmacy: 24/7
- Pharmacy open 6 AM–10 PM
- After-hours orders handled through Carnival
- On-call pharmacist will mix medications if needed
- Shifts: 6–6, 6 AM, 9 AM, 11 AM, 1 PM, 3 PM, 6 PM
- Greatest Need: Mid-shift to nights
- Weekend Requirement: Every 2 or 3 weeks
- Holidays: Work into staff rotation
- Floating: Normally no
- Floor-Specific Orientation: 2–3 shifts
