Role Description

National Facility Contractors (NFC) is seeking a strategic and results-driven Vice President of Planned Maintenance to lead one of the company's fastest-growing service divisions.

This executive leadership position is responsible for the overall operational, financial, and strategic performance of our national Planned Maintenance Division, overseeing recurring facility maintenance programs including commercial landscaping, janitorial, parking lot maintenance, facility maintenance, snow and ice management, and other contracted services.

We're looking for a proven operations executive who has successfully led large, multi-location service organizations, built high-performing leadership teams, and consistently delivered operational excellence while driving profitability and client satisfaction.

What You'll Lead

As Vice President of Planned Maintenance, you will provide executive leadership for a nationwide portfolio of recurring maintenance services by:

• Leading the overall strategic direction and growth of the Planned Maintenance Division.
• Owning divisional P&L, budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance.
• Developing operational strategies that improve service quality, efficiency, profitability, and scalability.
• Building and mentoring high-performing regional leaders, account managers, and operational teams.
• Driving accountability through KPIs, dashboards, and operational performance metrics.
• Ensuring consistent execution of recurring maintenance contracts across multiple markets.
• Partnering with Sales to support new business development, contract renewals, and organic account growth.
• Overseeing vendor and subcontractor performance to ensure exceptional service delivery.
• Collaborating with Finance, HR, Compliance, Marketing, Sourcing, and Executive Leadership to support company-wide initiatives.
• Leading continuous improvement efforts that enhance operational efficiency and customer experience.

What You'll Bring

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations Management, Facilities Management, Construction Management, or a related field.
• 10+ years of progressive operations leadership experience.
• 5+ years in a senior leadership or executive role.
• Demonstrated success leading large-scale, multi-site service operations.
• Strong financial acumen with experience managing P&L, budgets, forecasting, and operational performance.
• Experience developing leadership teams and creating a culture of accountability.
• Proven ability to improve operational performance while maintaining exceptional client satisfaction.
• Excellent communication, strategic planning, and executive leadership skills.
