About the Role

Wet Noses Natural Dog Treat Company is looking for a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Technician to help us keep our pet treats safe, clean, and consistent. In this role, you'll be part of the team that checks products during and after production to make sure they meet all safety and quality standards.

You'll help run tests, keep records, and work with our production teams to spot and fix problems. This job plays an important part in making sure we follow food safety rules from SQF, FDA, USDA, and others. Sometimes you may need to adjust your hours depending on customer needs or inspections.

What You’ll Do
  • Make sure everything made in the plant meets our quality and safety standards.
  • Run tests on raw materials, in-process items, and finished treats.
  • Watch for any food safety issues and report them right away.
  • Keep logs and reports organized and up to date.
  • Support and train team members on safety and cleanliness practices.
  • Help with internal audits and get us ready for outside inspections (like FDA, USDA, SQF, etc).
  • Tag and track any items that don’t meet quality standards.
  • Look for ways to make our products and processes better.
  • Work with the QA team and production to solve problems quickly and correctly.
What We’re Looking For
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to stay organized.
  • Comfortable working on your feet in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good communication skills — both verbal and writing.
  • Ability to learn quickly and work with others across departments.
  • Able to adapt to change and work extra hours if needed.
  • Reliable, professional, and always on time.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • At least 1 year of quality assurance or food production experience preferred.
  • Must be able to read, write, and speak English clearly.
  • Basic math skills and familiarity with computers (Word, Excel, etc.).
Benefits

We offer a competitive benefits package to support your health, well-being, and work-life balance:

  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance
  • Company-paid life insurance
  • 401(k) retirement plan with employer match
  • Paid time off (vacation, sick, and holidays)
  • Employee discounts on our natural dog treats
  • Opportunities for growth and advancement
  • Supportive, team-oriented work environment

If you care about quality, like working on a team, and want to be part of a company that makes healthy, safe, and natural dog treats — we’d love to meet you!
