Job Description

The Quality Assurance Administrator supports Quality Assurance in managing processes and activities in support of customer and industry requirements. The Quality Assurance Administrator performs the following duties.

What will my responsibilities include?
  • Maintains a working knowledge of customer and industry quality standards (AS9100 / AS9102).
  • Reads and interprets engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Reviews a variety of documents such as Job Packets and Material Certs for completeness and accuracy prior to shipment.
  • Reviews for completion and uploads completed First Article Inspection Reports and supporting documents/records into Net-Inspect.
  • Files, maintains and retrieves documents, records, and correspondence in accordance with established procedures.
  • Uses a personal computer in a network environment to enter and update data, create documents and use system applications; uses email, spreadsheet and word processing software.
  • Prepares pack slips and certification paperwork, per customer and internal requirements.
  • Operates office equipment such as copiers, scanners and PCs.
  • Performs data entry to support daily, weekly, monthly and annual internal quality metrics, and quality support activities.
  • Works with all departments to support continuous improvement activities.
  • Works with/supports Q.E. staff. May take direction from Q.E. staff and/or Director of Quality.
  • Follows all safety guidelines established by the Company, including proper use of safety equipment and relevant safety procedures.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Demonstrates a willing, positive, and proactive attitude. Follows verbal and written instructions; works independently with a minimum of supervision.
  • Accountability: Takes responsibility for own actions and results.
  • Company policy awareness: Understands and complies with AMT company policies and guidelines as described in the Employee Handbook, the Employee Safety Manual and the Quality Management System. Complies with rules and procedures of a drug-free workplace.
Qualifications Preferred
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and email systems.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Quality Assurance/Inspection experience in the aerospace industry.
  • Basic awareness of GD&T
  • Familiar with Business/ERP Systems and CAD environments (Catia/Enovia)

Salary Offering: $24.75 per hour to $35.00 per hour

Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm
