Automotive General Sales Manager
Rairdon Auto Group WA Full-time
Compensation: Full-time total annual compensation between $ and $; including 3.0%-3.5% (DOE) of monthly new and used vehicle department gross profit per terms of pay plan; .50%-1% (DOE) of the monthly new and used vehicle department gross profit if new and used vehicle sale objectives/CEI are met per terms of pay plan; bonus potential for meeting or exceeding targets for new and used vehicles billed in accounting for the month per terms of pay plan.

- Paid Time Off (PTO):
All new employees earn 1 hour of paid time off for every 40 hours worked in compliance with the applicable state paid sick leave law. Following 36 months of continuous service, full-time employees earn an additional 40 hours of PTO each anniversary year; following 120 months of continuous service, full-time employees earn 80 hours of PTO each anniversary year, according to terms of PTO policies.

Responsibilities
- Hire, train, and develop a team of automotive salespeople
- Coach salespeople on standard methodologies for closing deals and provide mentorship to improve sales performance
- Set sales goals, track progress, and lead team to achieve and exceed those quotas
- Assist customers in selecting a vehicle by asking questions and listening carefully to their responses
- Explain product performance, application, and benefits to prospective customers
- Describe all optional equipment/products available for customer purchase
- Perform high-quality, professional, and knowledgeable presentation and demonstration of new/used vehicles
- Learn to overcome objections, close sales, and perform all other steps of the sales process in accordance with company standards
- Provide training and support to the sales staff and assist in closing deals
- Previous dealership and management experience a huge plus
- Leadership skills with a real passion for training sales employees
- Enthusiasm with high energy throughout the sales workday
- Goal-oriented, friendly personality, especially when negotiating pricing
- Attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities
- Quality customer service, communication, computer skills
