Accounting Specialist

Position Title:

Accounting Specialist Wage: $23.00 per hour

Hours:

7:00am-3:30pm

• Review, post, and process all approved vendor invoices, check requests, and expense reports in compliance with company policies.
• Maintain accurate accounts payable records and reconcile statements to ensure schedule accuracy.
• Prepare and issue accounts payable checks promptly.
• Collaborate with other departments to secure invoice approval for timely payments.
• Respond to vendor inquiries professionally.
• Maintain standard cost records and provide backup for other accounting functions as needed.

• Ability to lift and carry up to 20 pounds occasionally during data entry or filing tasks.
• Focused attention to detail and confidentiality in data handling.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Basic mathematical skills and understanding of accounting principles.
