Electrical Engineer​/Designer

As an Electrical Engineer, you will apply engineering theory, principles, education, and applicable technology to design, develop, and troubleshoot all aspects of electrical control systems, equipment, and machinery.

• Write custom control system code for new product and existing products
• Perform hands‑on diagnosis and remediation of problematic components or systems
• Use AutoCAD software to make wiring harness and electrical schematic drawings
• Challenge existing approaches to development, design, applications, test, or manufacture of products
• Review and approve electrical schematics
• Provide technical support to truck equipment installers and other colleagues
• Respond to service calls from customers in the field and provide technical support
• Develop and execute testing procedures for a variety of products, generate written reports
• Analyze product or equipment specifications and performance requirements to determine possible design improvements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or an associate degree in a relevant field with 4+ years of relevant industry experience or 8+ years of relevant industry experience with no related degree
• Experience with AutoCAD software, preferred
• Knowledge of heavy‑duty vehicle system architecture, preferred
• Proficiency in conducting system testing, validation, upgrades, and modifications
