Responsibilities- Conduct time studies and labor analysis to establish standards and optimize resource utilization.
- Apply Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Theory of Constraints, root cause analysis, and problem‑solving methodologies to improve operations.
- Develop and maintain standard work instructions, process documentation, and visual management tools.
- Design and optimize manufacturing work cells and facility layouts to improve material flow and reduce wasted motion.
- Create and analyze current‑state and future‑state value stream maps.
- Evaluate equipment, tooling, and production methods to improve performance and reduce downtime.
- Support cost analysis activities for existing products, new product introductions, and process changes.
- Analyze manufacturing data and ERP system information to support operational decision‑making.
- Utilize Six Sigma methodologies to identify process variation and implement sustainable improvements.
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Engineering Technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Process Engineering, Continuous Improvement, or related engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience utilizing Lean Manufacturing, 5S, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and project management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate across all levels of the organization.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
- Familiarity with ERP systems and manufacturing data analysis.
- Experience with Solid Works or similar CAD software.
