Mechanical Engineer (Order Management)

Location: Monroe, WI

Scope of the Position

As a Mechanical Engineer, you will apply engineering theory, principles, education, and applicable technology to design and develop new products and modifications and/or improvements to existing products.

Responsibilities
  • Model and design new products and revise existing products in compliance with engineering principles, company standards, customer specifications, and manufacturing capabilities.
  • Generate product configuration layouts for manufacturing and upfit to aid the production process.
  • Work closely with Sales to answer technical questions, provide engineering support during the quotation process, and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Work cross‑functionally with Sales, Purchasing, Manufacturing, Upfit, and Quality Control to address issues, determine root causes, evaluate solutions, and solve problems.
  • Engage in contact with several levels of employees inside and outside the organization to obtain factual data and validate engineering designs, where a high level of professional conduct and interpersonal skills are required.
  • Analyze product or equipment specifications and performance requirements to determine possible design improvements.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
  • Engineering internship and/or entry‑level engineering experience, preferred.
  • Knowledge of heavy‑duty vehicle system architecture, preferred.
