This role supports daily production operations by safely and efficiently operating assigned machinery. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail oriented, and comfortable working in a manufacturing or production environment. Whether you are new to machine operation or bring prior experience, we provide the training and support needed to be successful.
What You'll DoThis position is responsible for producing high quality documents, products, and services utilizing printers or inserters. The position will use a variety of printing, inserting, and finishing equipment such as cutters, folders and banders. This position will require extensive knowledge of the software and hardware used to produce and mail printed media. An individual will be able to assist with the setup and maintenance along with running assigned equipment.
The position reports directly to the Operations Supervisor or Facility Manager to prioritize client work requirements and ensure that projects are completed on a timely, accurate basis.
- Learning, maintaining and demonstrating knowledge of all job, equipment, and operating procedures
- Continually monitoring print/inserting quality to ensure that all work produced meets the highest quality standards
- Receives and processes work assignments based on management direction
- Informing management of any established production targets that can’t be met.
- Making suggestions regarding paper, productivity, and work flow options.
What It Takes
Entry-level machine operation experience in a similar or related field is preferred, but not required. Training will be provided.
In Addition, We Are Looking For- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to learn and follow detailed job, equipment, and operating procedures
- Attention to detail with a strong focus on quality and accuracy in production work
- Experience in print production, manufacturing, or equipment operation preferred
- Basic troubleshooting skills and willingness to learn minor machine maintenance
- Ability to meet productivity standards in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer skills for job tracking, documentation, and electronic record updates
- Strong communication, teamwork, customer service skills, and commitment to safety and workplace cleanliness
