Position Title: Sanitation Tech

Wage: $21.95 per hour

Shift: 2nd

Hours: 2:00pm-11:00pm

Join a great team as a Sanitation Tech and play a vital role in maintaining cleanliness and safety within our production facility. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work in the dynamic Food & Beverage industry, ensuring compliance with all sanitation standards and GMP protocols.

Sanitation Tech Responsibilities
  • Perform routine cleaning of production equipment and facility areas using chemicals and sanitation equipment such as foamers, steam hoses, COP tanks, and CIP systems.
  • Operate and maintain certification for forklifts, pallet jacks, and walkie forklifts.
  • Conduct CIP and COP tank verifications, including checking chemical concentrations, flow, time, and temperature.
  • Document sanitation and production checks accurately and timely.
  • Follow all GMP, PPE, and chemical handling practices.
  • Tear down and reassemble production equipment for cleaning throughout the facility.
  • Use foaming equipment and scrub machinery as needed.
  • Verify cleanliness of equipment post-cleaning and observe facility and equipment conditions to ensure compliance.
  • Follow facility color coding procedures for cleaning methods.
  • Assist Line and Floor Sanitation Supervisors with sanitation tasks and other duties as assigned.
  • Communicate any food safety concerns immediately to supervisors or managers.
Sanitation Tech Requirements
  • No prior experience required; on-the-job training will be provided.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. repeatedly and push/pull up to 60 lbs.
  • Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods (4-10 hours per day).
  • Capable of frequent bending, occasional reaching, kneeling, and squatting.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
  • Good manual dexterity to perform routine cleaning functions.
  • Effective communication skills.
