Position Title: Line Lead

Wage: $21.79-$24.05 per hour

Shift: 3rd

Hours: 8:00pm-6:00am (Mon-Thurs)

Join a dynamic food manufacturing team as a Line Lead, overseeing packaging operations to ensure efficient and quality production. This role offers leadership opportunities within a fast-paced environment, emphasizing safety, GMP compliance, and teamwork.

Line Lead Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate all equipment operation on the packaging line, ensuring continuous and efficient production.
  • Evaluate daily packaging schedules and communicate run rules to the team.
  • Monitor packaging materials for correct usage and maintain proper labeling and organization.
  • Enforce GMP, sanitation, safety, and PPE protocols consistently across the team.
  • Manage staffing, scheduling, and employee rotations for packaging line personnel.
  • Conduct safety inspections, report unsafe conditions, and ensure adherence to safety procedures.
  • Maintain accurate records and complete necessary paperwork related to production and safety.
  • Train and oversee operators, line haulers, cutters, and general laborers, providing guidance and support.
  • Collaborate with HR regarding employee relations and performance issues.
Line Lead Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Prior lead or supervisory experience in a food manufacturing environment required.
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull at least 50 lbs. frequently and stand on your feet for a minimum of 11 hours.
  • Must be able to work in temperature fluctuations, including hot and cold environments.
  • Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach.
  • Flexibility to assist teammates and cover breaks as needed.
  • Must possess or obtain certifications for pallet jack operation and QA Metal Detection.
  • Ability to read and follow SOPs and safety procedures.
