Monroe Truck Equipment is passionate about providing on‑site, paid training for people interested in a Welding career! If you have never welded before, but have always had an interest, we can train you in MIG welding. Candidates who excel at this training possess mechanical aptitude, have great hand/eye coordination, bring a desire to learn, appreciate hands‑on instruction, and enjoy teamwork. Again, no prior welding experience is required.

Position:Weld School Trainee

Shift:Monday‑Friday; 7:00 am to 3:30 pm

The 6‑week gas metal arc welding (GMAW) on‑the‑job training program is designed to equip trainees with the skills and knowledge to:

• Understand the GMAW process
• Use the proper safety precautions for arc welding
• Learn the impact that key variables have on weld integrity and identify weld defects
