Cleaver Brooks is looking for a Tester to join our team in Monroe, WI. The Tester is responsible for testing all burner assemblies in accordance with established procedures.
Job Location: Monroe, WI
Essential Functions- Read and interpret wiring diagrams and follow various work instructions
- Perform all established testing functions including electrical and combustion fire tests, according to procedures
- Proficient using electrical test instruments and various gauges
- Proficient using various hand tools.
- Ability to work well with fellow employees including active participation in employee involvement activities and problem solving.
- Fully support and participate in promoting safety at all times.
- Maintain clean, efficient work area. Ability to work well with minimum supervision.
Suppliers and insurance inspectors.
Basic RequirementsEducation:
High school diploma or GED.
Experience:
5 years of industrial electric/automation experience in an assembly manufacturing environment.
Standing, bending, lifting objects weighing up to 40 lbs., periodically during an 8 to 12 hr. work shift. Dexterity required includes the ability to safely work with power and hand tools.
Working Conditions and HazardsNormal hazards associated with working in a metal fabricating environment. Personal protection equipment required consists of: safety glasses, steel toed shoes and hearing protection. Additional personal protection equipment may be required and is dependent upon the work being performed, and may include: face shield, respirator etc.
