Join a dynamic manufacturing team in the plastics industry, where you will play a vital role in producing high-quality products through various molding and inspection processes. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop hands-on skills in a fast-paced environment committed to safety and quality.

Operator responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Operate and monitor mold machines, ensuring parts are not closed in and sprue does not cause build-up.
• Load inserts properly, trim flash, and snip gates as needed.
• Perform printing, assembly, sorting, drilling, and gauging of parts.
• Maintain standard cycle times and monitor for water or oil leaks.
• Detect and report safety malfunctions such as guard failures or equipment issues.
• Listen to machine sounds and respond to changing noises to ensure proper operation.
• Communicate instructions to relieving operators and document any quality, safety, or equipment concerns.
• Complete post-molding operations including assembly, gluing, and polishing as instructed.
• Grind runners, sprues, and scrap without damaging equipment.
• Keep the workstation clean and assist in training new operators under supervision.
• Notify supervision promptly of mold, equipment, or quality issues.

Operator requirements:

• Ability to stand in one place for extended periods and bend at 45-degree angles.
• Lift up to 25 lbs. throughout the shift.
• Capable of working in a warm environment and alternating between standing and sitting as needed.
• No specific prior experience required; training will be provided.
