Starting Wage: $19.88/hr.

• 1st Shift - 4:30am - 3pm, Monday
  - Friday, OT as required
• 3rd Shift - 7:30pm - 6am, Monday
  - Thursday, OT as required, Shift Premium +$2/hr.

This position involves operating the crane and cheese cutter for packaging including understanding packaging including loading, labeling, bagging, weighing, boxing, palletizing, cutting and some basic sanitation. This position requires strict adherence to GMP, sanitation, safety, timekeeping and personal conduct rules.

• Utilize crane system including setup, hand controls, moving off forms, proper loading/unloading off forms while monitoring cables to prevent twisting and pinching
• Setup and use of Grinder and Cutter including carriage/harp/basket along with knowledge of daily schedule; proper insertion of product and forms as needed
• Cheese recovery including scraping bottom of pallets and pans for brown process stubs
• Knowledge of color code system used for processing cheese including cheese type specifics for production
• Strict adherence to GMPs;
  Keep area clean
• Strict adherence to Safety/PPE protocols and procedures; reporting unsafe conditions to plant management
• Accurate record keeping and line specific paperwork
• Perform all other duties as assigned

• Strong listening skills and ask questions to understand instructions for work-related activities
• Takes initiative to complete tasks along with a continuous improvement mindset
• Works as a team with positive attitude and behaviors
• Verbal and written communication skills; including ability to read, understand and follow written procedures (SOPs)

High school diploma or equivalent required. Food manufacturing experience preferred but not required.

• Moderately strenuous work involving standing, walking with frequent bending, twisting, pushing and squatting;
  Repetitive lifting of up to 50 lbs.
• Fast-paced clean environment; frequently cool, wet, and moderate noise along with working with chemicals
