Position:Powder Coat Painter
Shift: 2nd
; 3pm-1:30am, Monday - Thursday
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Pour 55 pound powder boxes into reservoir of machine.
- Couple hoses to spray nozzles.
- Moves sleeve on nozzles to attain specified spraying pressure and turns thumbscrew to direct nozzles toward articles or materials to be coated.
- Regulates temperature of coating solution.
- Removes article and or materials from conveyor belt and places articles or materials in drying racks or containers.
- Parts preparation with the use of chemicals and hand tools.
Qualification and
Skills:
- Ability to lift 55 lbs. unassisted.
- Ability to use a crane, tugger, hoists and forklifts
- Ability to read, write and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
- Ability to read and execute instructions as found on blueprints and job instructions.
- Ability to perform basic math.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
