Job Duties:
  • Packaging line duties typically include packing finished product into plastic to be shrink wrapped, may pack into buckets, pails or cartons, stack pallets, load cheese onto conveyors, clean equipment and room, move pallets of cheese and totes on rolling racks, prepare supplies and labels, verify and document product codes and ensure materials are correct, complete packaging and sanitation paperwork correctly, cleaning & sanitizing equipment and work areas as needed and directed, operating packaging equipment, and other related duties as assigned.
  • Load cheese products into package processing equipment.
  • Clean containers, materials, supplies, or work areas, using cleaning solutions and hand tools.
  • Verify and record product, packaging, and order information on specified forms and records.
  • Examine and inspect containers, materials, and products to ensure that packing specifications are met.
  • Sort, weigh, and inspect products, verifying and adjusting product weight or measurement to meet specifications.
  • Verify accuracy and correctness of product identification labels and attach to finished packaged items.
  • Remove finished packaged items from machine and separate rejected items.
  • Inspect and remove defective products and packaging material.
  • Palletize packaged product.
  • Move pallets of cheese and totes in and out of production areas.
  • Observe machine operations to ensure quality and conformity of filled or packaged products to standards.
  • Tend or operate machine that packages product.
  • Stop or reset machines when malfunctions occur, clear machine jams, and report Malfunctions To a Supervisor.
  • Other Related Additional Duties As assigned by Supervisor/Manager.

Shift: 1st shift, 5:00am - done (typically 8-9 hour shifts), Monday-Friday plus every other Saturday

Pay Rate:$19.00/hourwill pay more for experienced workers! *****
