What You’ll DoIn this highly collaborative role, you’ll work with a team responsible for maintaining regulatory and product data while serving as a trusted resource to partners across R&D, Purchasing, Marketing, Operations, and other functional areas. You’ll help guide commercialization by providing regulatory expertise and ensuring compliance every step of the way.
You’ll Also Be Responsible For- Leading the review, approval, and maintenance of product labels to ensure compliance with food labeling regulations and company standards.
- Overseeing specification management systems and processes to ensure ingredient and product information is accurate, complete, and up to date.
- Reviewing and approving label artwork, packaging content, advertising claims, and customer-facing product information.
- Serving as a subject matter expert on food labeling regulations, ingredient declarations, allergen labeling, nutrition labeling, and product claims.
- Driving continuous improvement initiatives that enhance regulatory compliance, data integrity, and operational effectiveness.
- Supporting product information initiatives while fostering a culture of food safety and regulatory excellence.

- Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Food Law and Regulation, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Three or more years of experience in regulatory affairs, food science, food processing, quality assurance, or a related food industry role.
- Strong knowledge of state and FDA food labeling requirements, ingredient declarations, allergen labeling, nutrition labeling, and product claims.
- Proven ability to interpret regulatory requirements and apply them in a fast‑paced business environment.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and project management skills with the ability to balance multiple priorities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including interactions with regulatory agencies, suppliers, customers, and cross‑functional teams.
- High attention to detail and strong documentation, investigation, problem‑solving, and decision‑making abilities.
- Experience leading, coaching, and developing team members preferred.
