Position

The Inside Fleet Sales Coordinator is responsible for gathering information to provide our customers with the best options and products we offer. This involves getting quotes and information from suppliers, vendors, and internal departments to work up a quote or presentation for the customer. There will be communication with the customer, installation groups, and Outside Sales Rep during the order and upfit process (i.e., quote to delivery).

Responsibilities
  • Provide support to the Outside Sales Team as well as internal company departments to make the overall sales process as smooth as possible.
  • Prepare bids, costs, and lead time while working with Purchasing, Engineering, Service, and Scheduling to present the most competitive and accurate proposal to fulfill customer needs.
  • Communicate special manufacturing requests to the Department Manager and/or the Engineering Department.
  • Coordinate with dealers on chassis arrival to schedule equipment and installation.
  • Build and maintain customer relationships as well as investigate and help to resolve customer issues.
  • Attend and participate in off‑site meetings, training, trade shows, and industry association meetings to support the Municipal Team and for personal growth within the industry as required.
Qualifications
  • Six months minimum related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred but not necessary.
  • Associate degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two‑year college or technical school is preferred but not necessary.
