We are seeking an organized, detail-oriented Trade Compliance Analyst to support our growing Global Compliance team. If you have a positive, customer-service oriented demeanor – this could be the position for you!
What You’ll DoDuties will include leading all global freight and transportation operations supporting our diverse supply chain. This role is responsible for developing and executing global logistics strategies, ensuring compliance with domestic and international regulations, and managing key partnerships across carriers, warehouses, and internal teams. You’ll guide the direction of transportation programs, optimize logistics cost and performance, and lead a team dedicated to goods safely, efficiently, and compliantly.
YourResponsibilities Will Include
- Developing and managing transportation, consolidation, warehousing, delivery, and shipment approval functions for the movement of raw materials and finished goods from suppliers into Colony Brands facilities.
- Working closely with cross‑functional departments including purchasing, resource planning, manufacturing, and production to effectively plan and manage shipping and receiving flow.
- Leading carrier selection, RFQs, contract negotiations, KPI development, pricing, and service optimization.
- Providing compliance guidance and training on transportation regulations.
- Staying current on U.S. and international carrier rules and communicate changes across the company.
We need a forward‑thinking problem solver with deep experience across global transportation, freight procurement, and supplier management. Ability to bring a strong command of international and domestic logistics operations, a proven ability to lead teams, and the confidence to negotiate contracts while maintaining strict compliance and service standards. - Logistics Management with responsibility across TL, LTL, intermodal, small parcel, ocean freight, and pooled distribution.
- Leadership/supervisory experience leading and developing teams.
- Logistics procurement experience includes sourcing and developing transportation capacity.
- International logistics knowledge in moving goods from multiple countries.
- Strong negotiation skills with demonstrated ability to secure favorable rates and resolve issues.
- High proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- This role requires you to physically work on site at our Monroe, WI headquarters.
