LTE Senior Equipment Oprator-Highway

Position

Highway LTE Senior Equipment Operator II – Truck Driver position.

April 27, 2026 until late October 2026.

• Operate road maintenance and construction equipment (quad‑axle trucks, loaders, tractors, mowers, skid loaders, excavators, graders, dozers, and plows). Exposure to hazardous highway traffic.
• Safely operate patrol/haul trucks and other assigned light and heavy construction equipment for highway and bridge maintenance and construction, material handling, and sand and gravel mining.
• Communicate with other truck drivers and operators to coordinate materials handling and delivery.

• High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• Minimum of two years of experience in truck operation, highway maintenance, or highway construction.
• Class A Wisconsin Commercial Driver’s License with N‑Tanker endorsement, no air brake restrictions.
• Maintain regular, reliable, and predictable onsite job attendance.
• Ability to work independently.
• Physical ability to lift 50 to 100 pounds occasionally and 25 to 50 pounds frequently; ability to lift, carry, push, pull, climb, balance, stoop, crouch, and kneel.
• Ability to stand or be on feet for long periods.
• Exposure to all weather conditions; ear, eye, and head protection required and will be furnished.

40 hours per week, 6:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., Monday–Thursday. Hours may vary based on weather conditions; some overtime may be required.

Rate of pay starting at $26.40 per hour.
