Inorganic Chemistry Department

Pay: $22.00 - $24.00hr

Schedule:

Monday - Friday (9am-5pm)

We're seeking a dedicated Analyst II to join our dynamic Inorganic Chemistry Department in Plum, PA. What You'll Do:
As an Analyst II, you will perform intermediate-level sample preparation and analysis using established methods such as USP, EPA, ASTM, and others. You'll operate, calibrate, and maintain essential laboratory instruments—including LECO TGA, CVAA, and auto titrators—ensuring every test meets the highest standards. Your skills in data analysis and troubleshooting will support accurate reporting, while your collaborative spirit will help mentor junior staff.

You'll also be involved in internal audits, quality reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives to keep our lab at the forefront of inorganic chemistry testing.

Required Skills &

Qualifications:

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, Environmental Science, Materials Science, or related field 2–4 years of hands-on laboratory experience in an analytical setting Proven experience operating laboratory instruments and interpreting data Strong knowledge of laboratory procedures, safety practices, and regulatory methods (e.g., NIOSH, ASTM, EPA) Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail Effective communication, both written and verbal Proficiency with Microsoft Office;

experience with LIMS is a plus

Nice to Have

Skills:

Experience in troubleshooting complex instrumentation issues Familiarity with laboratory quality management systems and audits Ability to assist in refining procedures for enhanced efficiency Preferred

Education & Experience:

Bachelor's degree in a related scientific discipline 2+ years of experience in inorganic chemistry or similar analytical environments

Commitment to maintaining a safe laboratory environment Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team setting Willingness to participate in ongoing training and professional development
