If you take pride in diagnosing complex vehicle concerns, delivering quality repairs, and providing exceptional customer service, we'd love to meet you.
Essential Responsibilities
* Diagnose, inspect, repair, and maintain Chevrolet and GM vehicles according to manufacturer standards.
* Perform routine maintenance, warranty repairs, and advanced mechanical and electrical diagnostics.
* Utilize GM diagnostic equipment and service information to accurately identify and resolve vehicle concerns.
* Complete repair orders accurately and efficiently while meeting quality and productivity standards.
* Perform multi-point inspections and recommend necessary repairs or maintenance.
* Work closely with Service Advisors to communicate repair recommendations and vehicle status.
* Maintain current GM certifications and complete all required factory training.
* Follow all dealership safety policies, manufacturer procedures, and state regulations.
* Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
* Assist with other service department duties as needed.
Qualifications
* Current GM Certified Technician credentials required.
* Previous dealership technician experience preferred.
* Pennsylvania State Inspection and Emissions Licenses preferred or ability to obtain.
* Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
* Strong diagnostic, electrical, and mechanical troubleshooting abilities.
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
* Self-motivated with a commitment to delivering quality workmanship.
Physical Requirements
* Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and work in a shop environment throughout the workday.
* Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
* Ability to safely operate shop equipment and tools.
