Formed in 1969, Felikian’s Carpet One / National Flooring Outlet is a family-owned and operated flooring company that has proudly served the San Gabriel Valley for over 50 years. Based in Monrovia, California, we specialize in hard surface flooring, carpet, and custom area rugs. We pride ourselves on strong product knowledge, customer service, and a collaborative, high-performing team.

We are seeking a mid-level Staff Accountant to support the day-to-day financial operations of our business. This role is largely independent while working closely with our Office Controller, and supports two retail store locations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, reliable, and comfortable taking ownership of accounting functions in a fast-paced, multi-vendor environment.

Major Responsibilities:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned:

  • Review, verify, and reconcile vendor invoices and financial records
  • Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable for two store locations
  • Identify discrepancies and proactively resolve accounting issues
  • Support the Office Controller and senior management with ad hoc accounting projects and process improvements
To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
  • Prior accounting experience in a business environment (mid-level role)
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining strong collaboration with leadership
  • High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
  • 2+ years previous accounting experience

  • Interest in learning new systems, tools, and processes
