Chinese-Bilingual Payroll Specialist

Direct hire, full-time, permanent position.

Work hours:

Monday to Friday 9:00am to 5:45pm (45 minutes lunch break).

Responsibilities:

• Process new hire and termination procedures for clients
• Prepare and review payroll runs for clients on a regular basis
• Prepare state and local tax filings for clients
• Administer employment tax related activities such as vendor tax registration, statutory filing and deposits
• Reconcile payroll withholding accounts and complete Form 941 reconciliations to general ledger
• Stay up to date with rules, regulations, policies and practices governing wage payments, distributions and recordkeeping across multiple jurisdictions
• Stay knowledgeable in multi-state employment tax laws, system administration and configuration requirements including gross to net, deductions, taxes and direct deposits.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 7 years of related working experience in payroll servicing industry
• Bilingual in both Mandarin Chinese and English
• Proficient in Microsoft office:
  Excel, Word, Adobe Acrobat
• Attention to detail, high organizational skill
• Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines
• Experience in team leadership is preferred
