Elementary; K-6 Dual Immersion Teacher - Spanish Language

Job Goal:
To teach elementary students (K-6) enrolled in the Dual Immersion program and assist in other school programs as assigned. Candidates must be fluent in Spanish - reading, writing, and speaking - and have an understanding of culture of Spanish-speaking countries.

To be eligible, the candidate must possess:

• A valid California Multiple Subject Teaching Credential;
• One of the following certifications issued by CTC and authorizing primary language instruction in Spanish:
  Bilingual Authorization; BCLAD;
  Bilingual Cross cultural Specialist Credential; or Bilingual Certificate of Competence
• Experience teaching 6th grade preferred.

• Letter(s) of Recommendation
  - Attach three recent (within one year) letters of reference

• EL Certification
  - Attach PDF documentation of your CTC issued certification if it's not included on your credential copy
• Copy of Transcript
• Credential Copy (With credential number)
• English Learner Authorization
