Job Details:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Permanent Tax Consultant to join our dynamic Accounting and Finance team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in managing our company's tax obligations and ensuring compliance with all tax laws and regulations. • Prepare and review complex income tax returns, including federal, state, and local income tax returns and estimates.
• Conduct research on various tax matters; interpret and apply tax laws and regulations to the company's operations.
• Assist with tax planning and strategy implementation to minimize tax liabilities.
• Ensure accurate and timely filing of tax returns.
• Manage tax audits and inquiries by various tax authorities, including preparing responses and supporting documentation.
• Provide tax advice to management on business decisions, including mergers and acquisitions, new business ventures, and other strategic initiatives.
• Collaborate with other departments to understand and address tax implications of company operations and transactions.
• Stay updated on current tax practices and changes in tax law.
• Develop and implement efficient processes for tax reporting and compliance.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in tax accounting, with a focus on income tax.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Enrolled Agent (EA) certification is preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of federal and state income tax laws and regulations.
• Proficiency in tax preparation software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
• High level of integrity and professionalism.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Willingness to stay updated on new tax laws and accounting standards.
