, a full-service precision machining company with integrated in-house capability from design through assembly, is looking for an experienced CMM Programmer/Quality Control in Monrovia, CA. This is a rare opportunity to ensure the quality of parts used in military and commercial aircraft, turbine engines as well as critical industrial products.
- Pay Range: $37.00 to $52.50

- 2+ years of experience programming in PC-DMIS and/or MCOSMOS
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- GD&T experience
- Create, develop, edit and implement CMM programs on high precision machined parts
- Audit, implement and revise CMM programs as needed to verify GD&T characteristics
- Ability to set up machined parts on CMM machines
- Perform precision measurements on machined piece parts while exercising an understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) using CMM, calibrated hand tools and ring gages and other standard measuring equipment. Inspect components, subassemblies, and assemblies per GD&T requirements
- Perform layout mechanical inspections from machine shops as necessary.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints
- Examine materials from suppliers before sending them to production line. Approves incoming materials by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; rejecting and returning unacceptable materials.
- Approves in-process production by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; communicating required adjustments to production supervisor.
- Inspect goods as they are finished. Approves finished products by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; returning products for re-work; confirming re-work. Ensure quality of manufactured goods.
- Documents inspection results by completing reports and logs; summarizing re-work and waste; inputting data into quality database.
- Keeps measurement equipment operating by following operating instructions; calling for repairs.
- Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations.
- Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading technical publications.
- Accomplishes quality and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
