Computer Aided Design Programmer

CAD Programmer opportunity with our client, a family-owned engineered plastics manufacturer, targeting significant growth toward ~$90M. The company produces mission-critical components for aerospace, semiconductor, medical, defense, space, energy, and industrial markets.

Onsite position based at their HQ in Monrovia, CA (M-F, 5-days per week).

Hours:

Mon. – Thur., 1st Shift: 5:30am-2:00pm

This role is responsible for the program of 3-,4-,5-axis vertical mills and/or twin-spindle lathes using advanced software like Mastercam. You may also create, modify, and review 3D part geometries and models, perform virtual machining setups, generate setup documentation, or edit and optimize NC programs to reduce run times and improve efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Experience:
  
  Multi-axis CNC programming and machine setup experience in a precision manufacturing environment.
• Software
  
  Skills:
  
  Strong proficiency in CAD/CAM applications and reading digital geometry or tool paths.
• Technical Knowledge:
  Deep understanding of machining parameters, cutting tools, and material behaviors (specifically thermoplastics and composites).
• Shop Math:
  Ability to perform complex measurement conversions and interpret technical documentation

What the client offers:

• Up to ~$39/hr. in base pay (based on experience)
• Overtime: 1.5x/hour (includes 4 hours of OT per week)
• Annual bonus (up to 5% based on performance)
