Monrovia Memorial Hospital is currently hiring for a FULL TIME Certified Nursing Assistant for day/night shifts (12 hrs.)

• The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) assists professional nursing personnel in providing patient care in the assigned area.
• The CNA assists patients with activities of daily living and promotes a safe, comfortable environment that fosters the physiological and psychosocial well-being of the patient, under the direction of professional nursing personnel.
• The CNA consults with and keeps supervising RN informed of unit activities, needs, and problems related to patient care.
• Records vital signs (temperature, pulse, respiration, weight, height, blood pressure) and intake/output measurements in a timely manner. Prepares patient rooms and beds for admission, transfer, and discharge procedures, and ensures necessary equipment is available.
• Assists in patient admission, transfer, and discharge procedures.
• Assists with handling and care of patient belongings and other personal property.
• Documents on the patient belonging record when the patient is admitted, transferred, or discharged.

• Current license as a Certified Nursing Assistant in the State of California.
• Current BLS certification.

• Bedside manner, infection control, nursing skills, medical teamwork, multi-tasking, listening, verbal communication, health promotion, and maintenance.
• Entry level Certified Nursing Assistant from an approved program.
• Six (6) months experience working in an acute inpatient setting preferred.

Salary: $17.50–$24.50 per hour
