MAIN JOB RESPONSIBILITIES / COMPETENCIES

  • Develop and maintain calibration schedules for all instruments and equipment.
  • Monitor due dates and generate work orders for upcoming calibrations.
  • Coordinate with internal technicians and external service providers.
  • Track equipment status (in service, out for repair, out-of-tolerance, decommissioned).
  • Maintain calibration records within CMMS or calibration management software.
  • Calibrate and maintain measurement equipment (e.g., pressure gauges, temperature sensors, multimeters, torque tools, flow meters).
  • Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 17025, or other regulatory standards. traceability to national/international standards (e.g., NIST).
  • Ensure traceability to national/international standards (e.g., NIST).
  • Identify out-of-tolerance conditions and recommend corrective action.
  • Support internal and external audits.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • REQUIREMENTS EDUCATION & TRAINING
    • Associate degree or technical certification in Electronics, Instrumentation, Metrology, or related field or equivalent combination of education/experience.
    EXPERIENCE
  • 2+ years of experience in calibration, instrumentation, or maintenance.
  • Knowledge of measurement principles (electrical, mechanical, thermal, dimensional).
  • Ability to read schematics and technical manuals.
  • Proficiency using calibration software and CMMS systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy.
  • SKILLS
    • Effective communication across departments.
    • Detail-oriented documentation management.
    • Problem-solving and proactive follow-up.
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities.
    • Strong planning and coordination skills.
    Pay range

    Pay range: $24/hr - $30/hr - Final compensation/salary will depend on experience.
